Summary
- AIDS-related lymphomas are mainly seen in patients with advanced HIV infection[Pluda 1990; Gérard 2002]
- Burkitt’s lymphoma tends to develop in younger patients with higher CD4+ cell counts (usually > 200 cells/mm3) (Figure 4)
- Primary CNS lymphoma occurs with more severe immunosuppression (CD4+ cell count < 50 cells/mm3)[Forsyth 1996]
