- KS is a vascular mesenchymal tumor whose ocular complications most often involve the eyelid or conjunctiva and, rarely, the orbit
- May present as a subconjunctival hemorrhage, pyogenic granuloma, or as purple-red nodules on the skin of the eyelid (Figure 1)[Jeng 2007]
