    Noninfectious: HIV Retinopathy
    • HIV retinopathy is a noninfectious microvascular disorder identified by cotton-wool spots and intraretinal hemorrhages[Finlayson 1998; Kozak 2010]
    • Prevalence has reduced substantially with the introduction of effective ART[Whitley 1998]
    • HIV retinopathy is usually asymptomatic, although a small number of patients may have impaired vision[Jabs 1995; Zhang 2012]
